Great news to everyone who was hoping that Starfield was available there as well.

Starfield is almost here – at least, that is how any gamer would perceive it! Early access begins September 1, and fans are already mapping their journey across space as early access begins and early access kicks into gear on September 1.

Bethesda’s open-world RPG Starfield remains one of the most anticipated titles of 2017, even as PlayStation 5 users await its arrival. Unfortunately for PlayStation 5, Microsoft acquired Bethesda, meaning Starfield will now only be available on Xbox Series X/S and PC; though you still may be able to enjoy playing Starfield on your Xbox One!

Starfield will only be coming exclusively to Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms; don’t be disheartened if searching for cheaper bundles to catch it in time is becoming an urgent task! No worries: there’s no point trying.

Allow me to introduce Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, the top tier of Xbox Game Pass that allows users to stream any game available within its library from almost any screen-enabled device — including Xbox One. We see where we’re headed here?

Once you subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (PS12.99 per month here in the UK), you can access its library from any device – even an old laptop or mobile phone! After 6 September when Starfield makes its day one debut for Game Pass streaming directly on Xbox One via this library.

Disclaimer: this method relies heavily on having an adequate Internet connection; Xbox provides more details on minimum speeds needed to ensure lag-free gameplay; otherwise it should work flawlessly! But once your connection meets these minimum standards? Voila – game on.

On 31 August, GAMINGbible will have an in-depth Starfield review ready for you – so stay tuned!

florian cravic <![CDATA[Sony announced details about its PlayStation 5 Pro console this morning online and it looks to be quite an upgrade over its predecessors.]]> https://thegamerhq.com/?p=72450 2023-08-18T09:00:01Z 2023-08-18T07:01:51Z Sony announced details about its PlayStation 5 Pro console this morning online and it looks to be quite an upgrade over its predecessors.

PlayStation 5 Pro specs have leaked online and look to offer significant upgrades over its predecessors.

Rumors surrounding a PlayStation 5 Pro have swirled for some time now, including reports of its likely price point and estimated 2024 release date. With Sony unveiling an increasingly likely looking PS5 Slim earlier this month online, speculation about a PS5 Pro must surely follow soon thereafter.

RedGamingTech (RGT) recently issued an impressive report showing how the PlayStation 5 Pro stands as an upgrade over its standard counterpart – not surprising but with some noticeable differences between models.

There’s plenty of technical jargon in this report, but let’s do our best to break it down for you. First and foremost, RGT speculates that the PS5 Pro’s CPU and GPU may exceed those found on its standard PS5 model, suggesting frequencies “well over 3.6 GHz” on CPU side and 2.73 on GPU; for comparison purposes the standard PS5 offers up a variable CPU boost frequency between 2.5 to 3.35GHz as well as 2.23 on GPU; by contrast the latter supports variable boost frequency up to 3.85GHz/223 respectively for CPU side and 2.23 on GPU side respectively while RGT speculates (only so far!) that total compute could reach 23.04+TFLOPS with PS5 Pro.

What exactly do these improvements translate to, you might ask? Well, among their major benefits are more stable 60fps at 4K resolutions (no need for framerate vs performance modes!) plus 8K options and enhanced graphic features like accelerated ray-tracing.

This seems consistent with previous reports about the PS5 Pro console. Take all this with a grain of salt until Sony officially introduces their mid-gen hardware upgrade; but given how well received both PlayStation 4 Pro and Slim models were, we wouldn’t be shocked if we got an expensive mid-generation upgrade as well as expected to shell out several hundred pounds upfront for it!

Now we know! Fans have long speculated that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III would bring back Zombies as part of its gameplay; now there appears to be confirmation.

Modern Warfare III may have begun as an expansion pack to MWII but now will be its own separate release. PlayStation users actually gain early access to it despite Microsoft acquiring Activision; Sony confirmed early access will open to PlayStation users before other console platforms. Sony confirmed a single player campaign set in Verdansk will begin again as well as every map from Modern Warfare 2 from 2009. Today however, we got news regarding Zombies.

Fans had long anticipated that Zombies would return. So many studios are working on it that many speculate it will become free-to-play like Warzone, though nothing has been officially confirmed at this point. JustOptical made his discovery on Twitter via MrDalekJD and demonstrated it.

According to recent reports, texting the word ‘Zombies’ to Call of Duty’s official phone number in the US yields a link to an unexpected sound file which plays sounds associated with zombies – suggesting its return! Have a listen below.

Activision will likely release more typical teaser videos at some point soon; Gamescom’s Opening Night Live event is rapidly approaching, and Geoff Keighley did suggest we would receive updates for games already announced – such as Modern Warfare III – within that window of opportunity. Stay tuned Zombies fans!

Spider-Man video games continue to evolve, offering players more freedom than ever and offering options that make gameplay simpler than ever before.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will build on everything the first game, featuring Miles Morales as Spider-Man: Miles Morales, introduced, including new gadgets and abilities such as his Symbiote suit symbiote suit.

Though veteran players might enjoy trying all this new content, casual audiences might find it too complicated as combat already requires perfect timing and gadget management on higher difficulties.

Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered included accessibility features designed to address these concerns, such as automatically progressing through Quick Time Events (QTEs), using toggle controls instead of holding down triggers when aiming, and bypassing puzzles altogether.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 plans to expand this list with additional options designed to provide an enjoyable gaming experience to a wider range of players.

New features of note include: @Audio: With screen reader support, all on-screen text in menus will be read aloud aloud for convenience.

Captions: Cinematic scenes feature on-screen captions and audio descriptions that can provide additional context.

Gameplay: you have the option of slowing the action down by 70%, 50% or 30% at any given moment and switching back at any point to regular speed if desired.

Combat speed reduction can be an invaluable feature for players that struggle with fast-paced action. It opens more opportunities to effectively counter enemies, plan your moves and generally make the experience less daunting, particularly as enemies become tougher and more plentiful as the game goes along. Furthermore, this could possibly apply for boss fights which often present new players with challenges.

It’s wonderful that Insomniac Games took such great strides to make Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 an enjoyable experience for everyone.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will launch for PlayStation 5 on 20th of October 2023.

Cyberpunk 2077’s world is ever-expanding, giving fans more ways to experience all that Night City offers.

Cyberpunk 2077 draws its inspiration from Mike Pondsmith’s tabletop game of 1998 and was first revealed as being in development back in 2012 before receiving its official trailer at E3 2018.

As soon as Cyberpunk 2077 hit shelves, we all experienced its launch issues that forced Sony to temporarily withdraw it from PlayStation Store. But later on when Cyberpunk returned after massive updates and content support had taken place, the game eventually evolved into the sci-fi RPG that we all expected it to be; at least to some degree.

Cyberpunk 2077 remains one of CD Projekt Red’s most successful franchises despite early struggles; from tabletop gaming and critically acclaimed Netflix anime to novels expanding upon its rich lore – so much so that we’ve even decided to dedicate this discussion thread solely to them!

As such, today’s topic will center around Cyberpunk 2077: Blackout which was released earlier this year and which serves as its initial installment.

“For an urban city operating on technology, power outage could spell catastrophe – yet darkness offers hope and opportunity.” Night City suffers most acutely while those living there experience increased suffering – the deeper one falls, the longer his or her dreams run their course – all made possible thanks to DMS technology.” Reads Blackout synopsis.

“A braindance repairman’s daily meetings with his clients reveal the fraying of human minds, their desparate hunger for illusion, and the desperation driving some to accept illusion as reality. But not everyone wants a happy ending: someone plagued with doubt, self-hatred, guilt and shame discovers an answer for pain only available through darkness.”

As of this writing, each issue in Cyberpunk 2077 graphic novel series costs PS13.99 with Amazon customer reviews giving its first issue an impressive 4.5 star rating.

“This story was really enjoyable! The tone fit Cyberpunk 2077 perfectly, revealing new aspects of its world while remaining faithful to the source material,” commented Richard (not me). Dark Horse comics/graphic novels in general make great additions to one’s library; many people consider buying Dark Horse books an investment.” commented m.bloomfield.

Phantom Liberty, featuring charismatic actor Idris Elba as its protagonist will launch later this month for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now available to PC, PlayStation and Xbox users worldwide.

Red Dead Redemption 2 fans now can take comfort knowing that a mod has restored numerous voice lines originally removed prior to full release of RDR2.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is massive; so enormous in fact that Rockstar Games must have done well to release it with such ease and success.

Even today, this game remains revered as one of the finest works ever released by Rockstar Games (until GTA VI came along). Fans still praise its open world gameplay and outstanding story. Also noteworthy: Arthur Morgan remains one of gaming’s finest protagonists!

Now, fans have spent years searching every nook and cranny of the game for all it has to offer, both physically and figuratively, with some still discovering new stuff today. Meanwhile others are approaching it from another perspective through mods; creating one to restore loads of cut dialogue is only one possible approach to exploration.

Nexus Mods’ Cut Dialogue Enhanced mod does exactly as promised – it restores various voice lines not present in the base game such as taunts spoken during combat encounters or dialogue when picking fights with NPCs.

Estimating that hundreds of lines have been restored and that mod creator, roastedflamingo has tweaked probability settings so as to less likely hear repeated phrases is sure to please fans seeking maximum immersion within their gaming world.

Rockstar Games remains under heavy criticism from their fan base due to the new Red Dead Redemption Remastered release on Nintendo Switch and PS4, available tomorrow for premium pricing but featuring no improvements or content enhancements whatsoever.

Hopefull the developer can regain everyone’s support with an update about Grand Theft Auto VI’s development.

Starc Brad <![CDATA[Xbox players could face one-year bans as part of Microsoft’s new strike feature.]]> https://thegamerhq.com/?p=72380 2023-08-17T08:44:10Z 2023-08-17T13:07:31Z Xbox players could face one-year bans as part of Microsoft’s new strike feature.

Xbox players need to tread lightly if they wish to maintain their accounts since Microsoft is cracking down on toxic gamers.

Gentle players looking to enjoy gaming without being subjected to abusive remarks should rest easy; this warning does not pertain to them.

Xbox has recently implemented an Enforcement Strike System which will penalise those who cause trouble in-game. Xbox’s Community Blog post covers this in depth; for those without time we offer this summary:

Do not be mean. In an effort to combat community toxicness and its various manifestations, Xbox have implemented an eight strikes and you’re out system that imposes suspension times according to how often someone has received strikes – for instance a player receiving two will be suspended from using Xbox for one day, with four strikes receiving seven-day suspension periods.”

An eight strike ban will likely be the worst possible consequence, leaving you without access to social features such as parties, messaging services and so forth for one full year. If this occurs (it should be shameful), all social features including parties and messaging services will become inaccessible – effectively closing you off from all forms of interaction between fellow users.

And remember: Microsoft strikes that are earned will remain on your Xbox account for six months as a reminder of all you’ve achieved – short of forcing you into standing in one spot, Xbox’s second best choice may just be this reward system!

Xbox recently issued an announcement indicating players will all start with zero strikes to start with and any previous enforcements, such as suspensions must still be fulfilled while new enforcements from today on will result in strikes – so your poor choices might still appear but may take on different forms as we all adapt to its Enforcement Strike System.

While a whole new system was put in place, players who disagree with their strikes can appeal; if successful in overturning enforcement, any strikes they received will be null and void.

Xbox has taken steps against users misbehaving online before: earlier in 2017, emulator users were banned and received 15-day suspensions due to their infractions, leading to more anger among many players than satisfaction from Xbox.

Xbox is now operating under its new regulations; be warned and behave accordingly.

Oh no! Bethesda have spoken! Starfield has officially gone gold! Cue excited shrieks.

Starfield could become an exceptional Game of the Year contender if Bethesda can deliver on everything promised to us by them. As it features over 1000 planets and offers “an astonishing” amount of side quests – with various branching paths you can follow and numerous factions available – it leaves me questioning how long completionist playthrough would be expected to last – however Todd Howard has confirmed that its main campaign should take 30-40 hours which makes sense given Bethesda recently issued another story teaser as it confirmed it has gone gold; no further delays!

Bethesda took to twitter on Monday morning, July 16, to announce Starfield had gone gold: Preloads begin tomorrow for Xbox X|S and Windows PC versions, with Steam fans joining later that same month.” As soon as pre-download dates were confirmed for all platforms (Xbox owners should wake up bright and early tomorrow to kick things off while PC fans will join later.)

Recently, one Starfield developer gave fans assurance not to worry when fans began questioning why the game hadn’t gone gold yet. Admittedly, we all lack patience as the final countdown begins, yet that should come as no surprise when considering all we’ve waited for it!

Keep in mind that Starfield will be released for Xbox Game Pass on day one if you wish to gain early access for five days (Digitial Deluxe Edition upgrade required).

Diablo IV has proven one of the most successful games released so far in 2023 – an already prolific year filled with incredible video game goodness!

Diablo IV became Blizzard Entertainment’s fastest-selling game ever shortly after launch and made over $666 Million within 5 days – yet controversy ensued, such as when one player lost a Level 100 character due to server issues while another lost 173 hours due to bugs in Diablo 4.

Unfortunately, Diablo IV and its community suffered in subsequent weeks after an angry patch caused widespread outrage among players. One such issue stemming from this “content update”, known as Season of Malignant was complaints regarding increased character progression difficulties causing some players to abandon playing altogether.

Blizzard Entertainment released a follow-up patch that addressed many of the disappointing decisions in its initial update; however, for many it had already done damage. To overcome Diablo IV’s excessive grind that may still exist today, players discovered an excellent exploit which can quickly advance you 40 levels within minutes – giving me strong “Loot Cave” vibes from Bungie’s original Destiny game!

PC Gamer reported on how YouTuber ‘Raxxanterax’ provided details about an exploit in Diablo IV following its most recent patch update. If players visit Domhainne Tunnels dungeon found in Scosglen region they will have an opportunity to jump 40 levels within 2 hours!

So how can one level up quickly in this magical location, I hear you ask? Well it’s simple. Simply devote two hours of your time slaying every creature that crosses your path within the tunnel system until level up is achieved and valuable loot has been acquired! Stay hydrated as you plunder for level gains!

Keep in mind that leveling by 40 will only really work for those starting close to level one; nonetheless, this method offers a great and simple way to gain lots of XP and loot quickly!

Sooner or later, Blizzard Entertainment may tamp down on this exploit like they have with Bungie with Destiny; so, if you wish to take advantage of it now, act quickly or it could all go away again!

Diablo IV can now be found across PC, PlayStation and Xbox platforms.

With so much happening in the gaming industry involving remakes, remasters, and rereleases these days, gamers are actively considering which series should return from hibernation and back into prominence.

Capcom fans have enjoyed its wide array of Resident Evil remakes, which do not appear to be stopping anytime soon; now looking ahead they are keen on trying Dino Crisis too.

Dino Crisis can best be described as Resident Evil with dinosaurs in place of zombies – though don’t let its familiar horror vibes fool you: Raptors and T-Rex lurk nearby constantly seeking your demise!

Fans and critics lauded it well upon its initial release but have seen little sign of life since. Gamers hope that will change!

Reddit user Ghost6970 asked fans if Dino Crisis should receive a remake, which received overwhelming approval. Many fans eagerly anticipate seeing Dino Crisis back.

“Capcom has shown its ability to rebuild.

“This would be incredible; just do it in Resident Evil engine and watch your bank balance grow”

“Yes” is the only answer available here.

Not content to stop with Dino Crisis alone, many fans also wish for Square Enix to give Parasite Eve its due and make similar improvements akin to what happened with Final Fantasy VII.

“Yes, Dino Crisis 2 and Parasite Eve 1 and 2 would both make great additions for my library as well as galareans!”

Remakes of both series would undoubtedly be breathtaking, particularly if given the same care and focus as Resident Evil and Dead Space did for their latest games.

Capcom may soon run out of Resident Evil games to remake, making it even more likely they’ll revive Dino Crisis for an updated audience and Square Enix may follow suit with Parasite Eve remakes.
